Marine Science Institute
The Marine Science Institute provides engaging and interactive hands-on adventures with San Francisco Bay Area marine life. Led by a team of expert marine science educators, these experiences impact students of all ages, inspiring respect and stewardship for the marine environment. California PORTS
Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students (PORTS) program provides free, live and interactive virtual field trips. K-12 students connect with live California State Park Interpreters and learning academic content standards within the context of California’s dynamic state park system. CREEC Network
The California Regional Environmental Education Community Network, a program of the California Department of Education, fosters regional partnerships that give teachers the tools they need to teach their students about their local environment and ecosystems. The Delta Sierra region includes San Joaquin, Calaveras, Amador, Stanislaus and Tuolumne counties, including much of the Mokelumne River Watershed. Project WET
Project WET offers curriculum and training focused on watersheds, the ocean and climate literacy. Curriculum and activities correlate to Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core requirements. Find online trainings, interactive activities and more at the Project WET website.

Project Learning Tree
With a collection of curriculum and resources as well as online training programs, Project Learning Tree is a must-have site for environmental educators. American River STEM Field Trips
It’s not the Mokelumne River Watershed where most of Lodi resides, but the nearby American River Watershed is home to many similar plants and animals, shares a similar climate, and more that make it a great tool for comparing and contrasting what students are learning about the local watershed. The Sacramento County Office of Education has partnered with the American River Parkway Foundation to film a series of STEM-themed virtual field trips at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center, as well as the county’s River Bend Outdoor Education Site. California Department of Water Resources

AirNow Air Quality Flag Program

International Crane Foundation
Each winter, Sandhill cranes migrate to the Lodi area and the California Delta, traveling down the Pacific Flyway from the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
